About this notebook

A personal site, kept by one home baker, mostly so the notes are in one place next year.

I am not a professional pastry cook and nothing here is for sale. The recipes are the ones I actually make for family birthdays, adjusted each time something went wrong. When a quantity changes, the page changes; there is no archive of old versions.

The site is deliberately plain: a handful of static pages, no comments, no newsletter and no accounts. It loads quickly on a phone propped against a flour bag, which is where it gets read.

Using the recipes

Bake them, change them, print them for a friend. If you republish one, a link back is appreciated but not required.
